Etsy Love – Lotus Leaf Creations

by Her Happy Balance on July 24, 2014

When I discovered Etsy, it was love at first surf! Web surf that is 😉 Who doesn’t love the idea of supporting small businesses that craft products made just for you?!  Today I want to highlight one of my recent favorite shops. I bring to you Lotus Leaf Creations!

LLC all pieces

I am all about one-of-a-kind items, especially when it comes to artwork. Lotus Leaf Creations is a shop run by a husband and wife duo {Ryan & Rachel} that specializes in creating unique and inspiring wall decor. Ryan is the master behind the printing and Rachel handles marketing and PR. It must be such a fun endeavor and labor of love to work on a business with your spouse 🙂 They both get together frequently to brainstorm up new print ideas.

Since I am focusing more and more on being in the present, I thought it was the perfect time to revamp my living space to reflect that. I was looking for some bedside table pieces that would inspire me each morning, and bring me comfort each night. This is perfect for my inner yogi and guru.

And without being thankful for our current blessings, how can we be deserving of more? I love this reminder to practice gratitude.

Their artwork is customizable, or if you have a specific print creation in mind, you can request a custom order. Plus it is affordable. Depending on size, prints range from $10-$20. But you are not sacrificing quality. The colors on the prints are beautiful, the paper they were printed on is glossy, and they shipped the items to me very carefully so as not to procure damage while en route to my mailbox. Rachel was spot-on with the customer service. We had a nice dialogue going back and forth on Etsy and she verified that I had received the prints in a timely manner.

If you are looking to add a little flare to your living space, this is definitely an avenue to consider. It is always more fun to decorate with unique pieces instead of chain store mass-produced art. It makes it much more personal.

Have you ever purchased anything from Etsy? I love getting things personalized at Christmas time.
What’s your current mantra?

Ahhhh I love Etsy!! I bought Danielle a personalized running necklace from one of the shops on there and have been counting down the days to when I can get one for me haha. This shop sounds absolutely wonderful, too! I can’t wait till we have our own space again…you better believe I’ll be looking this place up again to hopefully buy a few prints 🙂

I haven’t ever purchased anything from Etsy, but I’m thinking about using them to get some personalized bridesmaid gifts when the time comes. I love the Namaste print!

I’ve never bought anything on Etsy. I’m not even sure why. Love the prints!

Love these!! Especially the Namaste one! I’ve never bought anything from etsy, which is funny since I sell jewelry through them haha. I’ve been eyeballing a tank though!!
