Heck Yeah for HEX Performance! {GIVEAWAY}

by Her Happy Balance on June 17, 2015

Happy hump day, y’all! How’s everybody doing? Only two more days until the good ol’ TGIF. Hold on, you can make it there!

If you guys are following along with me on Instagram (let’s be friends!), then you saw that I finally finished up my first year of graduate school. Praise all things holy! With the end of my classes comes the resurrection of my freedom. Can’t wait to start showing you all a little more blogging love! Let’s kick things off with a review and {giveaway!} of a product that is coming to us just in time for summertime – HEX Performance laundry detergent.

Sport laundry detergent

I don’t know about where you’re living, but here in Philadelphia it is H-O-T, hot! And even worse, it’s humid. But I can’t complain because it was snowing buckets back in March…so, I guess I’ll take the heat? Anyway – training, running, and gymming-it-up doesn’t stop just because it’s hot outside. I actually have to officially start training for my marathon in July.#helpme

Training + Philly summertime = sweaty Leslee. My poor running shorts/socks/bras/tanks have been taking a beating! I practically have to peel them off of me when I’m finished working out. TMI? Enter HEX Performance

HEX laundry detergent

HEX Performance is a laundry detergent developed by a professional lacrosse player to help remove tough odors associated with sweat and bacteria. You know how your gym-wear can start to develop a funk after a little while? Or it loses its wickability and integrity? Yeah, this detergent helps restore and maintain your sportswear so you’re good to go wash after wash. Sign me up! It is designed for use on all performance fabrics, and because of its natural antistatic quality, it eliminates the need for extra dryer sheets and fabric softeners. Plus, the Power+ detergent is free of dyes and perfumes, making it a good option for those of us with sensitive skin. And for those of you that would rather use a detergent with a scent, you’re covered with the Enhance+ Performance Booster detergent. The Enhance+ has a subtle scent that reminds me of a pine or woodsy cologne. I’m a fan, it smells very crisp and clean.

HEX with laundry

And because HEX Performance wants to get you hooked on their sweet, sweat-killing laundry detergent, they’re offering up HEX Performance product for a HHB giveaway. I’ll be selecting 5 winners to each receive full-sized detergent. Can’t wait to see if you’ve won? Well, HEX performance is available at all Wegmans stores – download a $2 off coupon and get to shopping!

I use a pour in a little bac-out for my husband’s work out clothes! Would love to try this though!

I let the clothes soak overnight

so far, the best thing I have found for odor control is adding Borax to the laundry. I sure don’t do marathons… I can walk however. I walk for miles, but run.. I don’t think so. *sigh* If only I could get rid of my large breasts, perhaps, then perhaps I would consider running. It’s not a blessing, being ample, it’s a curse. A mistake.

I usually add baking soda and vinegar to the wash to help with funky smells. FYI, I am unsure if you will get this, but your instagram page is linked wrong. it is missing the underscore in the widget.
