Marathon Training – Week 9 Recap!

Since we’re coming off of a long holiday weekend, I’m going to keep this recap short and sweet by diving straight into the workouts. Hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day!

Marathon Training - Week 9

Monday:
AM – biceps/triceps

Tuesday:
AM – 4 miles on zee treadmill. Can’t say I missed indoor runs while I was on vacation…

Wednesday:
AM – A quick chest workout before work.

Thursday:
PM – 7 miles on the treadmill after work. Too tired to get in the miles before work, and too hot to do them outside after. On the bright side, the gym had professional tennis playing on the TVS and watching those women play was pretty motivating. Some trashy daytime TV also helped to keep things interesting.

Friday:
AM – 30 mins on the arc trainer. Kept it light in anticipation of my Saturday long run.

Saturday:
AM – 13 hilly miles on a new running route. Felt pretty strong!

Sunday:
Rest 🙂 

Thoughts??
Do you plan out your long runs the night before? Or just walk out the door in the morning and go where your feet take you?
What’s the longest distance you will run on the treadmill at one time?
