Seasons 52 Restaurant Review

by Her Happy Balance on December 16, 2012

Friday night I had the opportunity to go to Seasons 52 to help celebrate simply Nicole’s birthday! And let me tell you, she picked a winner for her birthday dinner bash! Seasons 52 is pretty unique in that every item on their menu is under 475 calories! Some of you may be thinking that the portions just must be super small and the food not as tasty as other restaurant’s carb loaded options, but that was just not the case! Here’s how the night went:

Started out with a glass of Cabernet at the bar while waiting for our table. Did you know that Cabernet has the most antioxidants of all the red wines? Just ask Dr. Oz 🙂

Where have you been all my life?

After perusing the menu, I settled on sharing a minted edamame hummus and roasted red chili hummus served with sea salt lavosh wafers as my starter. It was so good it magically disappeared before I could take a picture of it. Oops! For my main course I ordered one of the chefs specials, grouper served over a bed of spicy chopped green beans and topped with corn, black beans, and guacamole.

Yes, please!

Yes, please!

Then when the dessert tray came by, there was just enough room left to top off the dinner with something sweet. I chose the pecan pie and vanilla mouse. I’m not much of a dessert person, I’d usually prefer savory over sweet….but this was a choice I did not regret 🙂

Overall, it was just the right amount of food. I left feeling satiated and happy with the experience. Whats nice is that Seasons 52 caters to all eaters needs and offered organic food options as well. It is a little pricey with entrees running $15-$30, but worth it. Plus, you don’t feel guilty after indulging in a night out. Not to mention, the company was pretty great!

*All thoughts and opinions are my own*

Do you try to be healthy when going out, or do like to indulge every once in a while?

What’s your favorite starter or dessert?
